Thing is I thought they were a waste of money and used disposable razors for years.. then someone bought me Gillet Mac 3 for xmas.. and I could never go back.. even if they are absolute robbery for blades.. I'm not crazy hairy so don't have to use it daily so it's not so bad.

All the packs I got had 2 blades, on the razor and 1 on back of the holder.

What did you complain about? It doesn't say there are 2 blades.

"Someone on the internet told me that it had 2 blades, but it didn't."

They had an image up of a pack with 2 blades written on it, since changed.

Just bought the 100 blades and the Edwin Jagger handle, hoping I'll be a convert from a lifetime of being ripped off by gilette!

(Bit late now) but you probably want to order a tester pack of blades first. Some love the Derbys, some don't.

Be careful with them - it's easier to rip your face off with this type of razor.... :D

I was going to buy the big pack of fusion blades in Sam mccauleys this morning anyway. For not much more money it's gotta be worth a punt! Looking forward to giving it a go now

They'll work with any dual edge or safety razor. There's plenty to choose from on that site, probably best to start with one of the closed comb types. I use a Merkur HD, but the Edwin Jagger ones get great reviews and are cheaper.

The Facial Hair Forum is worth reading for more info and advice.

They all give much better shaves than any of the cartridge razors out there, and they're much cheaper too.

shave.ie sometimes post 5% discounts on their page on boards or via their news letter. Shaving soap is great value compared to buying the cans of foam/gel as they last so long - still using the first one I bought two years ago!
