Ryanair have launched a new hotel booking website.
    RyanairHotels.com

I've just had a quick look and its giving higher prices than the usual websites like ebookers, hotels.com, lastminute etc.

Plus you would probably have to pay a CC booking fee, as well as a fee to bring a suitcase to your hotel :)

Whats the best hotel website people have used?

When I saw the thread title I wondered if it might be like easyHotel, but no, as you indicate, it's just yet another booking site.

Ofcourse they will add there premium to it - it is what they do! And do you know what? People will still use it as it has a huge brand behind it and links from ryanair when you book!

I wouldn't use just one booking site I would hunt the cheapest price. This time it was booking.com for my trip to lanzarote in may. It was about 30-40 euro cheaper then the next one and that is very unusual for booking.com!

People have told me that too but from what I have seen on it when I go to look for accommodation is that it's not the case. I guess I am just unlucky with them :P

Also, some places don't offer free cancellation on booking.com such as my latest booking in lanzarote will want a 33 euro fee (first night cost) if I were to cancel.

thats quite odd alright. didnt think there was much difference in prices until the last year where bookings would be at least €10 cheaper and free cancellation.

comparing cost at as many sights as you have time for is the best way to do it. You just need the narrowed down list of hotels at your destination, the dates and in the case of Ryanair any "extras"..
    There's nothing like being informed.
