Sexism in Flat Rate Expenses

    I was having a look at the flat rate expenses list on the Revenue website. (Excel list linked to on this page).

    Can anyone explain why a "waiter" gets an expense of €97 and a "waitress" only gets €64? It doesn't make sense to me at all!

    Flat rate expenses are agreed with the relevant unions best to ask them why there is a difference. I don't see why there would be a difference given the type of clothing waiters and waitresses are expected to wear is broadly similar.
