Bank of Scotland mortgage holiday?

    Have tracker mortgage with Bank of Scotland, 15 years into 25 years. Want to take 5 year holiday, anyone been successful in doing same and retaining the tracker.

    Do you want or need to take a 5 year holiday? Its just you say want and thats a big want. Either way bank wont agree to it. No bank would. Is there a particular reason? You will need to service the interest at least or if in dire circumstances part of the interest with conditions attached.

    I cant see any bank accepting interest only for 5 years, never mind a payment holiday of that period
