The bike I bought (2009 GT Agressor) is too big for me. It's 18" and I'm 168cm. During longer rides my hands go numb. I'm just guessing but I think it's due to the size of the bike. I never had this problem on my previous (well-sized) bikes. I was wandering if putting a short stem would help? Moving the saddle forward helped a little. My current stem is 9.5 cm long (measuring from the centre of headset and handlebar's pipe). I already found a nice 6 cm stem. Also, I understand that doing so will make the bike turn faster?
