Somthing happened my pc tonight. I was in a middle of a online game and the game just froze and the the screen went totally black. I couldnt get into the taskbar and this was like this for 2-3 mins so my only option was to turn off the pc by plugging it out

It restarted okay but its alot slower now at the welcome screen and that black screen wasnt there before

    Here's a video of it

    Not right at all tbh

Im a bit stumped to what has happened. Iv a felling the crashing from that game wasnt the game it self but maybe a hardware fault on my computer?

    Thanks for the reply

Connection was perfect and ive the lastest drivers so no worries there. Im sure it wasnt the game because it was nothing like anything iv experienced before. Just before the game crashed, my allies were shooting and it continued shooting like it was a broken record if ya get my drift

I did press the power button on the case but it wasnt turning it off, maybe I didnt hold it in long enough thou, im not sure

Make sure its a boot time scan in case your anti-virus has been compromised inside of windows. also see if your motherboard has memtest86 and run it.

So I downloaded avast because I wanted bootscan and using it as a secondary anti virus

at the moment iv have super anti spyware, malwarebytes, MS essentials and now avast

do you think they will collide with each other and slow up the computer alot?

Anyway the boot scan found this ****er 9 files had this java:cve-2012-0507-r

Im not sure what it is but according to MS its bad

    edit

I think I may have found the trouble, im not sure

They most certainly will. Infected files locked and quarantined by one program will still be detected by the other program and vive versa.
