<snip>Mod note - Spoiler tags required

An added interest will be that the 3 guys who regularly post their rides on Strava will be doing this event, Taylor, Marco Pinotti & Craig Lewis.

Craig has posted up his file for today'd TTT.
    14km @ 49km/h, HR 130 > 194, 592W avg, 9.6w/kg for the 16mins !

The Power data is Strava calculated not from a meter so inaccurate as can be.

    Roche watch continues.

Strangely PP have him at 14/1 for the stage win tomorrow. Gadret seems to be team lead for the event so not sure where that's coming from.

Deignan was also due to start but didn't for some reason. Report about it here.

If you want a general race thread, and there's TV coverage, spoiler tags must be used for same day race information

This is Gadret's prep for the Giro, where he will be team leader. Roche is only building up some form pre the Tour so i'd imagine thats pretty much the reason.

Holy feic, 8.4km climb at the end of Stage 3 tomorrow at 15% average, rising to 20% in places.

Roche a much more realistic 80/1 for tomorrow's stage. They have Rujano as favorite which makes sense given the % of the finish.

Later on he said he'd use a 34 next time.

The stage winner used a 34/27 but had considered a 34/29!
According it Wikipedia he only weighs 53kg:eek:

    Savage climb.

Watched the highlights last night and boy was that epic! Like cycling up a wall, and just kept going up and up. Good to see the pros in the granny ring suffering like dogs, always makes you feel better.
