5km Fun Run + 10km Race, Cuffesgrange Kilkenny, June 10th

    Hi,

    The kids from Church Hill National School in Cuffesgrange, Kilkenny have organised a fun run on Sunday June 10th to raise money for the school. Registration is between 11am and 12pm and the race begins at 12:20pm.

    Adults: €15
    Students: €10
    Family €25

    There will be loads of family fun on the day with bouncy castles, entertainment, barbecue & great prizes.

    Also training sessions have been organised prior to the race at Danesfort GAA track. Anyone from novices to experienced runners can attend.

    Please find attached 2 posters with all the details for the race and the training.

    Just bumping this seeing as it's on this weekend. Hope people can make it cos it's for a great cause. As for the route-I don't know, you'll have to ask the organisers. I'm just helping out with the media advertising of it. Cheers!

    Might try make this since its local and for a good cause and all that, be a nice run before Portumna on the 16th

    I wouldn't race a 10k 6 days before a 50k. But that's me

    too late :pac:

    Anyway, not aiming for any specific time with the 50km just want to finish and I'm guessing it'll be something under the 5hr mark. All in all I just wanted the challenge of doing the distance.

    Enjoyable 10km, more hills then I expected but all in all got a time I'm happy with, was good to be able to support a local cause
