Hey all,
Having a few issues over the past few days with my almost two year old HTC Desire (standard model)
Basiclly when I plug the charger into it, (via wall socket) it takes ages to charge and sometimes the charge is lost from it in a couple of hours without doing too much.
Even when I switch the phone off and charge it with it powered off it takes ages more than it should. (just to rule out any software issues)

I think the battery itself may be past its life span, I got to admit I havent looked after that battery that well.

Anyone had any similiar issues and anyone know what the lifespan of these batteries is?

I can pick up a new battery for around 40 quid so I might just do that for the time being.
