Aerial advice required

    Hi

I recently switched over from UPC to SKY, and also recently purchased a TV that is Saorview compatible

I dont have an aerial so I can watch the SKY channels, or I can watch the old UPC analog channels (which UPC havent yet switched off) though the picture isnt great.

However my preference is to do away with the UPC input and have the saorview channels instead. I'm in South Dublin so wanted some advice on what aerial I might need to get - I assume reception should be good in this area being close to 3 Rock, so would an indoor aerial be sufficient - any recommendations???

    TIA,
    Benny.

I use this aerial and it works fine in Dublin

You could get away with an indoor one but its impossible to say without trying it.

I'm in Stillorgan and I'm using a 6" 'needle' aerial to pick up Saorview on a TV on the side of my house facing three rock. On a TV on the opposite side of the house the indoor aerial is a bit less reliable and an outdoor aerial would be recommended

BTW, if you still have UPC broadband then you'll get the UPC analogue channels gratis.

Regarding saorview,as other posters stated, something as cheap as a €2 rabbits ears might suffice depending on where you live.
