    Folks,

I've a Nikon Coolpix L120 camera and I'm going travelling in a few weeks. What would be the best option for batteries? Should I go for rechargeable ones or just keep buying normal batteries? Any help provided would be great.

For most users, rechargeable are the only sensible option.

For frequent use, just about any brand of high capacity Ni-MH AA will do the job.

If you don't use the camera very often, low-self-discharge types will be
more suitable. These are sold under several different brand names like:

    Sanyo Eneloop
    Panasonic Rechargeable Evolta
    Duracell Stay Charged

You will also need a suitable charger. Prices range from about €10-15
for a basic charger up to about €50 for a very high quality charger.
