    Hi
I am thinking of getting a Kia Ceed 1.6 diesel from the UK. Found a 09 Ecodynamics model and thought it was great since the VRT would be lower and would be in band A motor tax. Then I realize the Ecodynamics model does not seem to be popular in Ireland and is not even listed on www.kiamotors.ie. Do you think I would have problem selling this car on in 2/3 years time? Many thanks.

I don't see how it would be difficult to sell a Ceed diesel on, they are popular here. Just make sure it has a full service history with it.

    I'd not worry about it.

Uk have different Emissions bands to us, I'd imagine this is the reason! Harder to be a band a over there

Also this makes it a facelift model so timing chain instead of belt

Thanks for all the posts. That was really quick.
Yes it is a facelift model with 89bhp. Would that be a bit low for an estate?

The 113hp was available without the stop start nonsense for the same price new in he UK - I'd suggest you find one of those

Drove the i30 with the 89 hp and it was ok, the higher hp with the vgt turbo is a Flier.

I think the 89bhp would be a bit slow for an estate. I drive the hatchback version and I love it, it flies but the estate is lot bigger in the back so inevitably, the performance will be lower.
