New Laptop Battery?

Hi I need to get a new battery for HP pavillion dv6, just wondering if someone knows anywhere good to get one cheap. Saw a few websites around but don't know which of them would be best. HP website looks quite expensive

Just wondered if you have used this crowd before. I remember getting a battery from one of the "eBay battery stores" for a Dell laptop a couple of years ago and it was a pure crock of ****e.

I used Ebay sellers before to purchase a battery , the obvious thing is to check a seller feedback before making a final payment.

If you don't mind a battery that may not have the advertised capacity, reduced number of charge/discharge cycles and has the potantial to set itself and your laptop on fire, I'm sure, we'll find even cheaper batteries for you.

You know what they say about offers that seem to be too good to be true, no?

What's the part number of the battery. If it's 593562 then I'm selling a replacement one on adverts.

Just checked and it's 484170. The issue is that I have to have laptop plugged in all the time because if not it turns off within 10 mins. Then I get error message saying replace Internal Battery. Didn't want to have to spend a lot for a replacement if something else is wrong with laptop.

Original battery had only about 1 1/2 hours charge in it anyway but the setting itself on fire prob worth the extra €85 in long run. Thanks for the advice

Doesn't sound like there is anything else wrong with the laptop. All that would be indicative of a faulty battery. I don't know if the one I'm selling is compatible with your laptop given that it has a different part number. Keep an eye on adverts though because one might come up and it would be cheaper than getting a genuine HP battery at full price.

I'm stripping down a DV6 at the moment and I'll be selling the battery if you don't mind it being used you could take it

ebay is your best bet and go for the original battery brand again
