hey there peeps,I'd like some advice on something thats racking my head for ages now,its got me all worried too :(

anyways i got my appointment in loughlinstown with Dr, O'shea around november(ish).I got a call from their secatery saying its on the 25th of april, now here's the thing.A week after i got that appointment I got a letter saying I have an appointment to see a Dr.Canavan on the 23rd of May.Now i've called them a million times to see if there was a mixup or maybe i'm double booked or something like that. But as I'm sure you know its easyer to get in touch with the president then the endocrine unit at columcille's.I've called, left messages, tryed to explane my situation at the front desk but all they do is transfer me.So what do I do? should I go to the first appointment and hope I got it right or wait till the one I got on the letter?

    many thanks in advance <3

Always go to the first one. If it's a mistake worst thing that's happened is they tell you, and you have to make another trip. If you don't go and that was the right one, then you've wasted a day AND missed your long awaited appointment and have to wait for months again. Not worth it IMHO.

Dr. Canavan is one of O'Shea's assistants.

O'Shea is also a diabetes doctor - he's just been landed with the job of looking after trans people.

That's an unfortunate way of looking at it and hopefully not one he shares.

I suppose it's good in a way that there are 2 endocronoligists in the country dealing with trans issues rather than one?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
