    No.

Given his limited dates, I'd be amazed if we get anything more than a "Live via Satellite" piece he recorded last week.

Wonder if we'll get the traditional title switch this tour?

What time is it on at?

Hope the fact that Raw is in England doesn't kill the momentum as the last two weeks of Raw have been very good.

The show probably starts recording in a couple of hours so a heads up to beware of spoilers if your web surfing tonight after 8pm.

I'd lose my mind if he turned up (never seen him live) but not a chance realistically :(

Saying that, last UK show I was at we got a surprise Kevin Nash appearance (not even close I know but still :p) so there is always gonna be that 1% of hope I'll have

    Please explain

Raw's starting at 8pm our time so it's best to avoid sites like PWInsider and Twitter if you want to watch it spoiler free. I know it says spoilers in the thread title but if anyone posts a spoiler, any chance you can spoiler tag it until the end of Raw??? :)
    Please explain

Over the past few years, a title (mainly Tag, Divas & US Title) have changed hands on Raw/SD when it's in the UK.

So has RAW taken place at 8pm tonight, and we're watching it 'live' tonight at 2am?

Raw has finished taping now. It's not "live" this week, just a first airing

Thanks for clearing it up, good ole Sky EPG was telling me it was live tonight at 2am!

I read the spoilers & if it helps to anyone thinking of staying up there is no Diva match(that hardly counts as a spoiler). I'll sky+ it & watch it tomorrow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,881 ✭✭✭Pentecost

Read the spoilers up as far as the main event elsewhere.
Seems like a throwaway Raw but it sounds entertaining enough. D Bryan and the Punk/Henry match sound like the highlights. Won't stay up for it but will flick through it on YouTube or something tomorrow

So....can anyone tell us what happened?....i cant stay up for this tonight *please use spoiler alerts* haha lol.

Just got back from the show a while ago. Great show.

Daniel Bryan was insanely over with the crowd. Yes chants all through the night - before the show, in the intervals, during every match there were strong YES chants going. I hope it comes out ok on tv because it was loud as all hell in the arena
    * CM Punk b. Mark Henry to retain the WWE Championship in a no disqualification, no countout match after Punk hit a flying elbow drop with a steel chair.

    * Chris Jericho cuts a promo and announces that he will face CM Punk in a Chicago Street Fight at Extreme Rules. Jericho also showed footage of Punk walking out of a pub.

    * Santino Marella b. David Otunga to retain the United States Championship.

    * Josh Mathews interviews Lord Tensai backstage. Tensai speaks in Japanese before speaking for a moment about fearing the unknown.

There are Brock Lesnar sound bytes airing throughout the show. He is swearing, but it's being bleeped out.

    * Kane b. Zack Ryder by KOing him with a chokeslam. Kane then grabs a mic and talks about last week’s Smackdown. He says that Randy Orton is just like his father; they both went down without a fight.

    * Kofi Kingston & AJ are backstage. Daniel Bryan enters and says that he can’t hear anything because of the “YES” chants from the crowd. He says that he’s renamed the LeBell Lock the YES Lock! He then starts saying YES repeatedly and the crowd joins in.

John Cena came out for a promo. The anti-Cena fans outnumber the pro-Cena fans roughly 70-30. Cena acknowledged the "Yes" chants again and joined in. He cut a very intense, serious promo with no smiling or jokes. John Laurianitis interrupted and announced the Cena and Brock contract signing for next week. Big Johnny flubbed his lines in his segment with Cena, but he did book Cena vs. a mystery opponent in an Extreme Rules match for tonight's show.

There was an awful comedy skit with with Hornswoggle and R-Truth backstage.

    * Daniel Bryan beat Kofi Kingston. Bryan won with the Yes Lock, which was very popular with the crowd. Bryan wouldn't release the hold. Sheamus came out for the save.

Brodus Clay b. Dolph Ziggler by disqualification when Jack Swagger interfered, attacking Clay. Clay regains control and executes a gorilla press slam on Ziggler. One of Clay’s dancers gets physical with Vickie Guerrero at ringside. As the heels retreat, the dancing in the ring begins.

    * A tribute package for Chief Jay Strongbow plays

    * The Great Khali & The Big Show b. Epico & Primo. During the match, Abraham Washington was seen standing on the stage, scouting the match. Epico & Primo attempted to run backstage, but Show stopped them. A double chokeslam in the ring gave Khali and Show the win.

Lord Tensai defeated John Cena. There were a lot of "Albert" and dueling Cena chants. David Otunga interfered a bit with John Laurinaitis barking orders from ringside. Tensai won after spitting green mist into Cena's eyes.

seemed good enough, got about half of it. That punch he landed on Cena was mean. I hope he apologised :P

Ads are killer on "live" raw...

That Lesnar interview promo was the only good thing about that Raw IMO.

Good crowd though (like always in england).

Came across the edning while trying to avoid the rest.

sounds like a much better push/intro to the Tensai chrachter. No idea how it fits in with the PPV yet, unless Cena won't be able to compete saving the Brock v Cena match for a later day.

As Liz said in another thread Big Johnny going after Cena makes no sense initially. Then I remember the punch Cena gave him at MITB, maybe this is part of JL's revenge?

Did anyone see when Santino was making his entrance and pulling off the array of different football jerseys he was wearing. King was obviously been fed the team names through his headset but at one point when Santino reveals a Chelsea shirt to a chorus of boos, King remarks 'no Santino don't you get it this is London'. :pac:

Former WWE talent Shane “Hurricane” Helms is not a fan of WWE’s “CM Drunk” storyline. He wrote during Monday’s Raw SuperShow where Chris Jericho claimed CM Punk was spotted drinking alcohol before defending his title against Mark Henry: “I like both Punk and Jericho but I could care less about this “straight edge vs alcoholic” angle. Just wrestle.”

Helms also critiqued a WWE star’s bumping ability: “Otunga … geez. You’re on TV with the biggest wrestling company in the world. Please learn how to bump bro.” :D

I enjoyed a lot of the show this week.

Really good start to the show with the title match and followed up with jeritrolling.

Bryan v Kofi was enjoyable and the main event was interesting. Will Cena be blind next week?

Brock interview was done well, i hope its not repeated to death though!

Didn't think much of the big bore segments, i.e khali, kane, show parts

    No Miz this week?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 547 ✭✭✭cocalolaman

Frickin hate when they dub in cheers from the crowd. I'm used to it being on smackdown, but for god sake its the same cheering noise over and over and over. It became instantly recognisable after the first 5 times.

That Lesnar interview promo was the only good thing about that Raw

Hope they Don't Constantly play it on SD, NXT and Superstars! Then I'll begin to dislike it!

Yeah Khali & Big Show make Kane & Big Show look like the Motor City Machine Guns, did you see that big boot my word. Kinda agree with Helms that the CM Drunk storyline is a bit naff, the bit with him going into the pub was poorly shot imo. I'm calling out wwe too I complained that Tensai should be beating bigger names than Toshi & A-Ri then he beats Cena 1,2,3 talk about going from 1st straight to 5th gear. Enjoyed Lesnars UFC esque promo.

Was an okay Raw nothing great.

Anyone notice, did they mess up Kane's entrence, the explosion seemed to happen quicker than usuall.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 18,520 Mod ✭✭✭✭DM_7

I get it hard to notice anything relating to Kane when the speed of my Sky Box is set to x30!

kane is good when he is chokeslamming random celebrities, I will give him that.

his feud with Randy is such a snooze though!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,013 ✭✭✭✭jaykhunter

Did anyone notice that they re-shot the finish of the Khali/BS tag match? When Khali chops the 2nd Uso, the picture cuts to the same camera, slightly different angle.
