Sick and tired of these crappy screen washes that just smear bug guts all over the windscreen.

    Any good recommendations?

Used to get it in Woodies/Atlanic Home carecare for less than a fiver.

It's 9ish in halfords, Nice high dosage into the tank.

Thanks, will check it out. What do you consider a high dosage?

I wouldn't go lashing in half a bottle of the stuff. (:o) Too much of it and you'll be jumping out with a bottle of water to clear the bloody suds off the window.

    Up to the bulge?

I use cheap Lidl glass cleaner, comes in a blue spray bottle and I just pour it in. It does a great job although I've considered that maybe it's thicker than the purpose built stuff and may not be great for the mechanism.

If you have any nice Polish/Wax coats on your car and there is generally any sort of overspray, just be aware that most of these "special" formula screen washes will strip the Wax off if any of it lands on your bodywork.
