Panic stations ! A friend is trying to email me a large file with photos and it won't download. Its just hanging there trying to download and I cannot access my other mail. I've tried accessing my mail using mail2web.com but the same thing happens. I've gone into OE express tools and temporarily blocked her but still no luck.I have asked her to delete them from her end but that have not helped either. I need to send urgent emails this morning. Any suggestions please !

Who are you with regarding your mail provider (sometimes the same as internet provider)? You'll have to ring them and get them to delete it from the server. It's already 'gone' on the senders side so it's currently trying to download the mail so deleting it on their end won't do anything.

Get Mailwasher (the free version will do), configure it for your email account (incoming mail server, user name & password) and delete the mail from the server.

another thing is to log into your mailbox via www.mail2web.com and delete it from there, or even download the mail attachments individually if you really want to keep them.
