Hi everyone I started cycling just after Xmas , I bought a Claude butler san remo men's bike second hand even tho I'm a lady :) but it was cheap and I thought it was just a fad I was going through but now I'm getting up to the 20 k mark ( which I know would only be the start of a spin for some of you ) now this could be an excuse also but I think the bike might be too big for me as I find myself almost stretching for the bars especially towards the end of my ride and my elbows hurt , I'm thinking of getting rid of my current bike and purchasing a ladies trek lexa from a bike shop as I think my problem makes me want to turn and go home rather than carry on , I presume having a bike to fit you would make the cycling much easier and more comfortable, I also have heard some horror stories about people that don't have proper bikes getting back injuries etc dunno how through that is tho

And I'm wondering what should I expect to get for my current bike? I paid 170 for it but it's mainly only used on Sunday's and what your opinions on the lexa trek would be ?

    Cheers
    Viv
