Just wondering if someone could give me a rough figure as to how much it would cost me to get both front and rear shocks done on my car. Failed NCT, hoping to get it done within the 21 days so looking to see how much I need to budget. Car is a Fiat 500. Thanks.

    How old is the car?
    What's the mileage?

Fiat 500 can't be too old, and therefore it's strange that both front and read shocks are gone.
    Are they leaking?
What is imbalance on them on your NCT fail sheet?

Sorry, I could have given more information alright.
    2008, 85,000kms.

    Suspension report Nearside offside imbalance
    Front axle........................................... 71mm...............................38mm.................... .......................46%
    Rear axle.............................................113mm.............................. 117mm..........................................3%
Now I know the rear doesn't really need doing, but I'm planning on hanging onto the car so would probably be better off doing it.

Front does need replacing, Absolutely no need to do the rear.
