Torque Wrench

    Guys

    Anyone recommend where to get a Torque wrench set.There is a set on CRC but it 80e anyone know if a set can be got a bit cheaper online or in store?

    A cheap Torque wrench can be a very dangerous piece of kit. There are a number of brands using the BBB one which is a similar price to the one you saw in CRC, I have one my self, and tbh I just don't trust the bloody thing, and I absolutely HATE the fact that the rubber grip which you twist to set the torque, is the same grip you hold whilst tightening whatever you're tightening. This means you can easily accidentally increase the torque setting by just using the wrench.

    OR if thats not an option, save your money on the mid priced crap and get a Ritchie Torque key :

    Set to 5 Nm, which is the by far most common torque you need.

    My experience was that while there were places (in UK, Germany) where you could find a special offer going on for reputable, branded torque wrenches like Parktool, they never seemed to have them in stock. I eventually just bought the Pro wrench set from CRC; It does the job, but back again, I'd probably opt for a Draper or some, non-bike specific one from an online toolshop.
