Remote Desktop Wireless Network

    Hi

I am running a wireless network using an Eircom supplied Zyxel P-660HW-T1 v3 modem.

All devices are on network and can be pinged.

When I try and access a device remotely, I am prompted for credentials. I don't have a password set but even when I do, it fails to login.

It is a Windows 7 Home Premium trying to access a Windows 7 Professional.

Have looked at modem and messed with port 3389 but no avail.

It is probably something extremely simple but is stumping me.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards

Have you set either of the pc's on a home group?

You have to enable remote desktop on the receiving computer first.

The username / password it is asking for is the details of the receiving computer.

You can also use something like vnc instead of remote desktop from MS.
