Hi y'all. I'm on the hunt for a perticular size of paper. It's for charcoal drawing so a matt finish would be best. the size I'm looking for is 4A0. Large I know but needs must.......
    Cheers guys and gals.

I really don't see you getting anything that big in a flat sheet, have a think about who might have that kind of width on a roll, people who print architects plans for example, or some digital printers work with very large sizes, again off a roll. Possibly not the kind of paper you are looking for though.

I was thinking of bill board companies but I don't know if they print in house.

Tried that. Local printer came up with the bill board idea. I draw large scale stuff but want to go bigger. Much bigger.

Brilliant stuff! Hope to see what you do when you get the bigger paper. The only other thing I can suggest is the graphics sector like O'Sullivan Graphics etc, or maybe one of the newspapers Irish Times and Irish Independent, even though newsprint paper is too light they might have some suggestions for you - I've seen the rolls of paper they use - massive!

    Hi Mono,

Did you have any luck yet?

If not other than making your own, you might have to think outside of the box!

The larger your piece gets the heavier and more awkward to move around. If your moving it from place to place, maybe have it in sections.

The largest thing I can think of (although not paper) is those material curtain that you see on the sides of trucks. The measure 15 foot x 40 foot, although they might have too rough a surface for charcoal. Great thing about them is they have steel waterproof eyelets along the top and bottom that would allow hanging.

Otherwise maybe sheets of MDF, about 7mm thick, lovely and light, smooth finish. Come to think of it, have a root around your local building suppliers, wouldnt know what you might find. Failing that try a fabric shop, a nice large roll of canvas might work.

Er, second line, 4A0. And a digital billboard would use paper?
