Madbull Hop-Up rubbers.

I bought a Madbull 3-in-1 hop-up chamber a while back to put into my A.P.S. airsoft rifle but I've been having a lot of problems with different Madbull rubbers.

I have the Blue and Red rubber (60 Degrees), the Red is better I think, and I have the Fishbone "X" nub. When I put the rubber on (Blue or Red) it keeps putting pressure around the point when you clip the holder on after the rubber is completely in the Hop-Up chamber. It works grand with 50 Degress rubbers but I'd like to use the Madbull Blue or Red rubbers. Also, I've used ALOT of oil trying to fit them in and it never works...

Is there any way of cutting or sanding (Sanding the outside of the rubbers to make them thinner) down the rubbers to make them fit smoother?

    Any help is appreciated.

From what I've heard and read 60 degrees are only really useful for AEG's firing over 1J so i would stick to the 50 if i were you

if your refering to the c clip, where the rubber is blocking this area.i just slice a few mill off the rubber and it works fine

How much should be sliced/cut off the rubber?

EDIT: I cut off about 7mm off the Blue and Red rubber and after placing them on the inner barrel fitting them in to the Hop-Up they just slipped in perfectly. Performance, I not sure yet as I'm waiting for a gearbox and I'll have to change the air nozzle to a King Arms POM. Thanks to everyone who helped me.

performance shouldnt be a problem since its essentially the excess rubber that gets pushed out because there is no room for it.happy gaming
