My OH is an electrician and is wring our plumbing system. He is searching unsuccessfully for - a capillary thermostat with adjustable differential (or high range differential) for a hot water buffering tank. He wants the thermostat to cut in at 70 degrees and to cut out at 35 degrees.

I haven't a clue what anyone of the above means but hopefully someone out there can help. The only thing i have to go on is he thinks there was one made by danfloss but its no longer on the market. Can anyone pin point a model or where he can get it?

does it have to be capilliary?
a PT100 controller would definitely have the differential range and a high degree of accuracy, farnell might be the people to try

Thanks for reply, i think he said he wanted capillary cause there is 100ml insulation on tank. But that might do, thanks again!!!
