rent review form trouble

Hey, getting rent allowance and got rent supplement review form so filled all information and went to higher executive officer where I was told I am missing something.

it says that I have to bring this form and

Provide update on position re Housing Application

and income details from all sources.

And when I went there I was told I am missing 'Provide update on position re Housing Application' and that I should have that home or go to social welfare office and ask there. So went to social welfare and they said they don't know and I should talk to higher executive officer. (?) so nobody really told me what it is and I don't have it.

It looks to me like something with social housing (?) but to question :

    Have you applied for housing/accommodation/ .... I answered NO because I haven't.

Anybody know what it is ?

    Thanks

    Local authority housing perhaps.

You should be on the housing list for rent supplement, unless you have been renting for 6 months.

regardless of if you are renting for 6mths or not they will still look for you to apply for social housing...went through all this myself within the last year tiz a nightmare....I have been renting for 12years and they still wanted me on the housing list, which I was but not for the area I am currently living so had to remove myself from the housing list I want to be on, and move to the one in the area I am in now....unlike before you cant be on two housing lists and the time you where on the first one doesnt carry over to the new housing list its just a shame of a system
