    Hi all
I need some help with my laptop

When I turn on my laptop and try and go online firefox will open and but then the screen freezes and the laptop will stop working, if i press ctrl+alt+del a black screen that says the function is not working please press escape or reset the laptop. When I try to reset the laptop the laptop does not reset and stays on the frozen screen, if i try and turn it off it either stays on the desktop screen or goes to logging off and stay there.
When I force shutdown the laptop and turn it back on, it works grand and without a problem.
The problem occurs every second time I turn on the laptop. I have deleted firefox and re installed it but the problem still occurs.
But I do notice that when i disable the wi-fi on my laptop and turn it on its works all the time.

The only good thing is I have not seen (yet) the blue screen of death

Does anyone know what could be wrong and how to fix it?

(ps dont get me to try and delete the system 32 file)

Well first off you have to delete the system32 file :P Seriously, it sounds like a corrupt installation or malware. Since you've reinstalled firefox and still no joy, I'd try a registry cleaner and a virus scan. If it doesn'twork or still causes issues, I'd say back up your data and run a recovery.

Does it do the same thing for the likes of internet explorer or chrome? Try a complete wipe of Firefox (use Revo Uninstaller: http://www.revouninstaller.com/start_freeware_download.html).

    Restart and see what happens.

Registry cleaners are a bit of a joke. Your best bet is malware bytes anti malware - that would be step one. If you still have issues after that you may have a hardware problem with your wireless network card.

Does firefox just go "A problem has occured, Dont Send"? I removed one of these (nasty) viruses recently, thats a rootkit causing the browser problem more than likely. Check this guide out for instructions on how to use the Kaspersky Rescue disk to remove the MBR Rootkit, I doubt you'll be able nuke it in Windows.
After using the Kaspersky disk run a MBAM Free and a Super AS Free scan. Should sort it
