Audi AUX-in not working...

Would there be any particular reason why the AUX-in (OEM installed in centre console of Audi A3 2010) does not work. Original OEM head unit is still in place and the loom would never have been touched... This is a particular issue as my Parrot MKi9200 will not play audio unless AUX is working.

    Cheers for any advice!

This is usually just a coding issue. However in your case as the Parrot kit has been fitted the wiring will have been messed with so it may be more than just coding in your case. Where are you located?

The AUX in did not work before the Parrot got installed... I am based in Galway. If it is a coding issue, how do I get around this? There is no keycode in the manual for the head unit or in the Audi Folder...

When I say coding I mean configuration within the unit. Basically the unit needs to be told that it has an AUX-in connection. Then it should start to work. You need to go to somebody who has VCDS diagnostics or the factory VW tool to check the coding and modify it if necessary.
