Is there any channels in particular that you are looking for?

    You'll probably need a 1cm dish.

60cm dish would only get 28.5, (the sat sky uses), 19.2e (mostly german & arabic channels) & 13.0e (mostly italian & arabic channels).

42E would be a good satellite for eastern european stuff. If your not looking for anything in particular any decent fta receiver & 1cm dish (maybe a little bigger)would get you that. Shouldnt come to around much more than €200.

Should also look into getting a mortized dish which will only cost a little extra & would get you pretty much everything your looking for.

Think you mean a 100cm (1m) dish? A 1m dish would only get you west beams from 42east. The east beams are to hard to get here. the west beams on 42east are receivable on a 60cm.

Lol, yeah 1m of course, what was I thinking? :pac:. Don't think you can the east beams at all over here.

Hellsat at 39E has good bit of eastern european stuff on it aswell. Think you can get that with a 80cm.

Eutelsat 16E has a good bit aswell.

A lot will depend on which languages you are interested in, and if you want FTA channels only or buy a subscription.
Also whether you want movies, sport, adult.
I find Hot Bird 13E as the best satellite for my needs.
About a thousand TV and radio channels, but as free doesn't get me anything interesting, I have a subscription to a great and cheap package from Poland called Cyfra Plus prepaid package (START or KOMPAKT), packed with movies, sport, music and soft adult entertainment (KOMPAKT only).
    http://www.cyfraplus.pl/oferta/cyfra_na_karte.html#PP-STA
There are several channels with English audio.
You will need a receiver with Seca support like Fergusson Ariva.
As for adult, there are lots of options on HB13.
    Check sateuropa.co.uk
    Hope this helps. -:)
