I could really do with peoples thoughts on this.

My new job is due to start 14th May.
I need to give one months notice to my current employer.

To be that means I give notice no later than the 13th April.
Does that sound right, making tomorrow the latest day that I should resign?

    Thanks JC

A months notice is a months notice. So what you said, sounds right.

    Good luck.
