    Hi All,

My three year old springer spaniel is gone missing. Dog never ventures far from house....missing since 11 o clock yesterday. I am thinking that it most be stolen..... I have contacted local garda station and am going to put posters up with pic of dog and offering a reward...Any additional advice on the best way to get it back.

Really sorry to hear about your dog being stolen/missing.
Was he microchipped? This is probably the best chance of getting him back as any of the animal rescues, pounds, vets etc will scan a dog they pick up as routine and if your fella is micrchipped you will be reunited in quick time.

You could also keep an eye on Dog for Sale sections of popular websites. Apart from that you are doing all you can by putting up posters and letting as many people as possible know. The more eyes on the ground the better.

Really hope that you get your dog back....sickening thing to happen.

Don't know where you're based, but I hope that he/she comes back of their own accord and pretty fast!
