I know nothing about broadband so did some research over the last few days.
i'm looking at digiweb's metro home which has speed of 8Mb
upload speed of 1MB and "traffic included" 60GB.

My wife watches alot of youtube. Probably 30 minutes of youtube viseo's a day.
we would also want to download one movie a week.
is 60BG enough of a download limit for this or would we need the 100GB limit?
    thanks in advance

20GB would be enough for that.
So you're the user most Irish ISP's are targeting!

they tell me there is no cooling off period. is that normal?
what if the speed etc is crap?

With Digiweb Metro you either get it or you don't so there's no inbetween with slow speeds. It's fixed wireless and anyone I know who has it is more than happy with the service.
