medical card and swa?

my partner is receiving swa at the moment but has to go down to the officer every week as he is waiting on a p45 so he only gets checks and no receipt what way does this work regards sending evidence for a medical card can i just put his amount and not send anything?

As far as I know from my own application you do need to send them evidence of any welfare money received, you could perhaps photocopy the checks for now and explain via letter that you are still waiting for a p45 to come through for it all to be official.
