    running a bit late as usual but thinking of giving boluses to the cows before bulling this year.did a blood test on a sample of cows last week as i was testing so i wont have those results for a bit and i just want to see where we are at before i dosed them .what do ye use and how much are they and did you notice any difference when you started/stopped using them.thanks

    Round here we have high Mo which locks up copper, so at this time of year about a month before serving starts cows get a copper bolus. Before calving they get a trace sure bolus for Se and I as we are defecient in them as well, tracesure bolus is 45e approx for 10 boluses, not sure how much copper boluses are yet, roughly 1.50e each. Shop around.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
