Hi guys looking for some help hear

Ok going to have a bit of extra money for my birthday and i am looking at getting a SSD drive for my mac and 8GB of ram

I am looking at where will i get the thing to fit the SSD drive into where the CD drive gos and where is the best place to get a SSD Drive that is at lest 120GB

Also why will i put the Mac OsX and Windows 7 on it ?

Did this myself and it works great in my mid 2010 MBP13.

I fitted a Crucial M4 128GB (http://www.crucial.com/eu/store/ssd.aspx) in place of the existing HD and then fitted the old HD in place of the DVD drive, using an OWC adapter.

If you replace the DVD with an SSD and use it as the bootable system drive) then power saving won't work properly anymore so best to swap for the existing HD.

To save SSD space you may want to keep some (most) of your Home Directory files on the HD, I found this article helpful:

That OWC one is very expensive, I found a pretty good one on eBay a while back, but it seems to be gone now.

This (http://www.ayagroup.com/product.php?productid=18945) is super similar to the one I have, but about $10 more expensive. The one I have in right now is great and really sturdy

I recommend the OWC one also. I have one fitted into one macbook and I have another ready and waiting to go into my pro when I get the chance.
As said already, it is possible to fit the ssd into the optical bay but the norm is to put the ssd in place of the hard drive and use the optical bay for your old mechanical drive.
