Hi, me and my boyfriend are heading to a friends house in Murcia, Spain at the the end of June for a week but we want to stay on and go somewhere else for another week afterwards.
Can anyone recommend anywhere interesting to go around that part of Spain, not too touristy!

    Thanks,
    Aoife!

It's hard to recommend somewhere around there that's not too touristy. How far can you travel?

Granada is 3 hours to the west. It's a very nice city and beside the Sierra Nevada mountains. In Murcia Region the Mar Menor/Cartagena area is nice.

Granada, Cordoba and Seville. 3 excellent cities.

Are you looking for another beach town or a city? What type of things are you interested in? Will you have a rented car or will you be using public transport?

I have lived in Spain for years so have plenty of ideas just need some more info
