Replacement wing mirror Nissan Micra

    Hello motorheads! I could use some expertise if anyone could help me. Some little **** knocked the driver's side wing mirror off my Nissan Micra 00 and I rang Nissan there to see how much a replacement would be, 250 euro inc VAT and tax is what I was quoted.

    The mirror itself is not broken but the bracket that holds it onto the car is, what I would like to know is if it is possible to replace the bracket instead of buying a whole new mirror or am I just better off going to a scrap yard, getting a mirror there and doing it myself because 250 is way out of my budget at the moment.

    I would really appreciate your views on this, thanks in advance!

    These would be available to order aftermarket from any decent motorfactors for likely half the price.

    Failing that, any brakers yard is bound to have one second hand.

    Don't get one from an 04-07 as they're different.
