i need to file my annual returns for 2011.
I ceased trading in May so its just from january to may. Its only a very small scale operation with very basic ins and outs.

I have lost money on this business and cannot afford to lose much more winding it up.

i got a quote for 545. anyone know where i can get it done cheaper as i don't want to lose even more money on this venture!

    Hi Fisher

A lot will depend on whether or not the company is up to date with the CRO. If the company's annual return is late then audited accounts may need to be prepared and filed in CRO before the company can be struck off.

Also if the company has no assets or liabilities, all monies being owed to the directors, a voluntary strike off may be possible. Otherwise the company would need to be properly liquidated. This could prove to be quite expensive.

    Kind Regards

    Thanks David,
I am up to date with all my returns, the company has no assets or liabilities or monies owed to the directors.
Could i do a voluntary strike off without doing 2011 annual returns or would they have to be done regardless?

    Hi Fisher

Provided all the above is true you may apply for a voluntary strike off.

    Kind Regards
