    As for the two have have posted, the HP is the better one because of it's 2nd generation Core i3, the Acer only has a 1st gen Core i3.

    Komplett have a 2nd Generation Core i3 MSI laptop for €489. But that Tosh Core i5 there with 100 quid cashback is a top deal.

    Apologies for the uneducated question, but would that Toshiba come with Microsoft Office and anti-virus protection software already installed or would all of that have to be purchased on top?

    Never bought online before! :o

    If you look under "Popular Extras", you'll find MSO 2010 Home & Student for 89 quid.

    Usually there is a time limited trial version of some security suite installed, which you can purchase once it is expired, or replace it with one of the many free alternatives.
