Dispite the two doubtfuls, no transfers for this one.

With only six players playing next week saving them for that one.

Still dont know how i'm going to play the double gameweeks, might have to take some kind of hit.

Settled on this although Simpson on the bench does worry me

Who is more likely to keep a clean sheet?

    Caulker / Skrtel?

Nooooo I forgot it was an 11.30 deadline. I know I brought in Cisse but I can't remember if I picked my team or changed captain from Valencia to Cisse/Dempsey/Rooney. After a good weekend I really hope I haven't blown it now.

How long does it usually take for the site to update after the deadline?

Usually about 30 mins, seems to be a bit longer today though

Same here, but given how rubbishly i picked my team over past 2 weeks am happy enough + have 2 free transfers for next week now. Had two cleanies on bench last week while sinclair and tevez played about 20 between both. Vital for me that captain tevez plays this week.

Apart from not bringing in Cisse, what's the worse thing someone could do this week? Bring in Cisse and then forget to play him?

I still have Valencia as captain and just to add insult to injury I still have Bogdan in between the sticks to make every Cisse goal twice as painful. Unforfuggingforgivable.

I brought in given for this game week 33 with a view to his double in gw 35, im not making any transfers in game week 34 so ill have two to make for game weeks 35, I currently have 9 players for gw 34 which is enough, I have

    mignolet

    Caulker
    Mcaugley
    Evans

    Sigoudsson
    Walcott
    Valencia

    Rooney
    Vpersie

So after the almighty f**k up of not having internet access all weekend, I now just need the following please...

West Brom to score as I've left Richards on the bench - second sub too :(
Bolton to score as I've left Simpson on the bench.
Gerrard to score as I couldn't transfer him out.
Rooney to outscore RVP as I couldn't change my captain.
Cisse to outscore Suarez as it was the only change I could get through.
Swansea to keep a clean sheet.

Surely not too much to ask!

    Bale starts .

    Bale starts .

Interesting. I'll be getting rid of Gerrard for either Bale or VDV depending on who plays better this game.

    Bale starts .

Excellent. He got 2 against Norwich in the reverse fixture. Here's hoping for more of the same

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,844 ✭✭✭carlcon

No VDV or Ade. 5 or 6 changes made from last game.

Lennon starts, which means less assist chances for Bale, but more scoring chances... or at least that's how I look at it.

And as for Sunderland ringing up the changes... only 1 player changes. Bendtner not starting.

F**k. I really want to get VDV but can't do it if he's not getting his game. Everyone has Bale, no fun in me bringing him back in!

No word on Everton? I gambled on 3 Sunderland players (Bendtner, Sess and Larsson) because I thought (hope), Everton play a weakened team with the semi-final next weekend.

Anyone reckon that R Taylor might start getting some full games in the next few weeks? I was hoping he might feature a bit more come the DGW.

Bollox, I didn't realise there was an early gameweek. Rookie mistake. BAE sitting on my bench and Rooney as captain instead of RVP/Cisse.

Most importantly, I lose a transfer as I had two saved last week but never used any. FACK!!!

Here's my selection for GW 33, I forgot about the 11.30 cut off, I was going to change my captain from Rooney to RVP, these lot got me 74 points last GW, hoping for a bit more of the same.

yep. still odd though. you'd think it'd be useful to have them on the bench if needs be. but Moyes is weird like that. he occasionally shows a lack of ambition

I left Bale on the bench, watch me get burned now. My squad is so good that im finding it hard to pick a midfield first 11 each week, in the last game week I left dempsey on the bench and he got 15 pts, the game week before that I left Sigurdsson on the bench and he scored. MY Midfielders and Strikers are

    Bale
    Valencia
    Walcott
    Sigurdsson
    Dempsey
    Rooney
    Vpersie
    P Cisse

its very difficult choosing which one of these to leave on the bench every week, I figured Dempsey with fulhams woeful away form was the logical choice last game week, this week ive subbed Bale. Its a big risk but he was a doubt with his injury and even though hes starting he could go off early, sigurdssons away form has been too good to be benched and dempsey is at home even if it is chelsea, can someone tell me if I made the wrong decision in benching bale

I can't have Cisse score well today. If he does, I'll have to start worrying about that #1 spot.

Any luck I get this week needs to go into Young, Arteta, and RVP.

Yes, scored 2 against Norwich in the away fixture, Spurs should stroll this, Bale should at least get double digit points from this fixture (I hope).

Hey, from the future here, 55 minute in, no rain still, beautiful sky,, score 0-0, Fantasy Football wise, Bale is running around in circles after VDV, giggling and Harry don't look happy, I think you made a good call, at this moment in time.
