    Hey guys,

I just upgraded to the HTC One X and android Ice Cream Sandwich. I previously had the HTC Desire running Froyo.

One thing I can't seem to do on ICS is force open the keyboard. On the Desire I could long press the physical menu button to do this but this button is now not on the One X.

The reason I need this is that every day I do the Irish Times crossword online! The crossword is flash based so the browser does not recognise it as a text entry field and therefore does not open up the keyboard when I click on a clue and the cursor moved into a cell.
Hence my need to force it open myself!

    All advice appreciated!

Have no idea as how to force a menu button... I know for me (on a custom rom) I added the softkeys (like galaxy nexus) and set it so that the menu key would be always available, instead of the hide/show thingy in ICS. Then that would work. Are you rooted? There is probably an easier way but no matter what you'll need root.
