Landrover fuel gauge

    can someone please help me i have a freelander 2 td4 2008 model,for the last week when i put fuel in it goes up on the range meter and then all of a sudden will drop to zero fuel can anyone please tell me whats wrong and how to fix it thanks louise it does go up again and then falls again to zero

    Try disconnecting battery for 30 mins (after powering down satnav and making sure you have radio code if required.) sometimes this sorts out electrical glitches.
    Or it could be a problem with your fuel sensor gauge. Nothing to worry about as far as NCT goes I see. ;)

    do they not check this for nct,will they say anything if it says there is no diesal in it?

    Well I don't recall seeing anything about the petrol tank etc on my NCT report and according to darokane here..

    it starts fine no problems starting it,there is diesal in it only the gauge says their is none
