    i remember him giving brian o driscoll a torrid time in the 6 nations a few years ago and there was a lot made about his potential. What has happened to him since??

    After the well publicised incident in New Zealand, he has a lot of personal problems and his form collapsed. Lievremont told him to cop himself on and lose weight but he didn't.

    Last summer, he moved from Stade Francais to Toulon where he's the first choice 13 now. AFAIK he's playing ok but not at the level that saw get picked by Lievremont.

    Tbh I can see him getting back into the French setup, he's still only 23 and France aren't blessed with depth at 13. However he has a bad rep now so he'll have to play doubly well to get media/fans back on side.

    as fair as I remembered his form didn't collapse till after he played brilliantly in the french grand slam , which was post the new zealand incident.

    I think he just got really unfit after that and seemed to not care about being told to get into shape, maybe assuming he would be picked again anyway?

    not sure how he's playing now though

    Watched him play last night, he is a monster.....had a good game for Toulon against a poor Harlequins team
