Already have my transfers lined up for next gw.

    Gerrard - Walcott
    Miyachi - Sigurdson

i know its copying the norm, its foolish to not have sigurdson and walcott till 34 is a must, then thinking ill trade him out for mata.

Why have myiachi in your team now and transfer him out before a double gw in 35 and 36???

Time to think of transfers in terms of week 33-36 inclusive- good way to finish of season after distint lack of dgw and serious injuries resulting in too many miror teams

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,416 ✭✭✭Jimmy Iovine

It makes little sense to transfer out Miyaichi at this stage. Is there anyone else on your team that you could get rid of for Sigurdsson?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 487 ✭✭Juxtapose

Forgot about the DGW.. Have McClean who i could transfer out also, but they are home to bolton that week

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,416 ✭✭✭Jimmy Iovine

I think you should do that. Sigurdsson is a must at the moment. He always looks like scoring. More so than McClean as of now.

You could always switch back Miyaichi to McClean after the DGW.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,194 ✭✭✭FatRat

    Reina - Friedel
Dempsey - VDV or Bale (Whichever performs better tomorrow)

Dropping Miyaichi is madness. I have him and will definitely keep him.

    Dempsey to Walcott for me

Ba and Dempsey to Cisse and Wallcott.

Yes I know Cisse hasn't a game in gw34. Yes I know I'll only now have 10 players.

The fact is, he could score another 10 by end of season. Hell be up 0.9 m by gw35.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,426 ✭✭✭✭8-10

No t/f's this week, 2 free the week after, as it stands i'd only have 9 players playing that gw

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,077 ✭✭✭✭eh i dunno

Ba out Cisse in. About 2 months too late

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

No transfers for me this week, all my players have good games next gameweek and as it stands I can field 11 players the week after if O'Shea gets himself fit. Will use the 2 transfers then the following week to utilise the DGW.

Senderos out gallas in. Senderos not a starter anymore unfortunately and hopefully gallas will be a regular until the end of the season for the spuds

Walcott in for Silva for me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 667 ✭✭✭DazzlerIE

Is it possible Silva's value could dip below 9 million?

he's going to just keep dropping and dropping

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 5,175 Mod ✭✭✭✭Mr Moon

Evan Mancini's dropped him. He's FF fodder at this stage.

I was in two minds as to who to replace Mata with. Sess or Arteta.

Arteta's goal today has made me fall a little bit in love with him, so I think he may just be my man for the job against Wolves this week, then Wigan the next.

Going to get in an Arsenal defender for this week. Thinking of Vermaelen in for Cole. Any idea what time the deadline is tomorrow?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,462 ✭✭✭✭WoollyRedHat

I got in Gibbs, he is more likely to do 90 now that Kod got suspended.

Not sure which way to go Walcott in and have 0 in the bank or Arteta in and keep over 2mil towards transfers over the next few GWs???

    Suggestions!?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,844 ✭✭✭carlcon

    OK, Arteta in for Mata.

Brought Mata in for 2 games and he served me well. Now Arteta in for 2 games in the hope of same. Then Mata back for his DGW.

    Simple! :D

Gibbs(only played 55 mins this GW), Caulker, BAE, R taylor(Only played 45 mins this GW)...

BAE and Gibbs. Haven't heard anything about Gibbs' "injury", but it looked more like a precautionary sub to me.

Hmmm... It's a toughie with the short week and the DGW coming up.

Unfortunately, I accidentally brought in Silva and Larsson on Friday for Mata and Walters.

Hope it doesn't bite me in the ass and Silva actually plays.

Yeah im leaning towards Gibbs alright, although he did only play 55 mins this week, 80 last week and 67 the week before!

And between Caulker and R Taylor?? Could be a coin toss moment at 11 tomorrow ha!

I'd play Evans, BAE, and Gibbs, then bench the other 2. Raylor ahead of Caulker though.

Was all set to get Vermaelen in today but with Koscielny suspended and Gibbs injured I'm not so sure now.

    Yeah defo get Djourou in...

    ...:pac:

Who's going to play while Koscielny is out? Those 2 games could be "easy" wins for Arsenal, so if there's a cheap replacement coming in, could be worth a look for GW33&34.

Djourou probably. I'm not as confident of clean sheets as a result. Could easily see Arsenal leaking 1 in each of those games.

BAE or Walker? Who should I go for?

    BAE.

1 goal and 1 assist all season for Walker. His FF talents are a myth.

It's amazing that he's so high in the scoreboard. 119 points with that few goals is unreal.

13 clean sheets and being a guarenteed starter with no injuries works wonders! Amazingly, he's only got 5 BPs all season too. So practically everything has just come from "being there".

    Arteta for Danny Murphy
    Sigurdsson for Walters

Question is now do I start Richards, McClean or Enrique?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,462 ✭✭✭✭WoollyRedHat

    Gibbs went off injured

Oh, ... will chance it anyway

I'm starting Richards myself although I think he might have lost his starting place! The thing is though, Mancini loves rotating his full backs so maybe with the 2 games so close together, Mancini might have played Zabaleta in todays games so he can play a rested Richards in the next game.

Are you drunk? If so step away from the computer immediately :P.

That's a brave move. Aguero looked very off form today. Rooney has 9 in 9 for United now and I can see it continuing. I wouldn't have made that transfer. Fair play to you if it comes off though.

It's a risk. I reckon City will just throw caution to the wind and start banging in the goals again. Pretty much a guaranteed starter too. We'll see. Tbh I thought Valencia and Rooney looked quite tired today, not surprising considering the high tempo football United have been playing in all their recent league matches - bound to take it's toll. Ferguson might be tempted to rotate for Wigan, though all the same I'd be surprised if Rooney didn't start - although that said he did start on the bench in the reverse fixture in December (I think I remember captaining him when he came on for a poxy one point). 'E who dares wins Jimmy!

I think your biggest problem was making a "like-for-like" transfer in regards to GWs 34 & 36.

Would have been wise to keep all transfers for the next few weeks either replacing non-starters on 34 or bringing in double players for 36 if you're already confident in your GW34 team.

Well I can't share your optimism. I'm hoping for a Rooney special on Wednesday. He's a fit young lad. He'll be fine.

Wow, Rooney out for Aguero is a pretty risky move

I'm leaving myself open to a face full of egg, but I just can't see it working out

my only thinking was I fancy Aguero to out score Rooney over the next 3gw's. I could be wrong of course, but ya gotta take chances in this game. wba Norwich and wolves. that's my thinking. I have a plan for gw34 and the big one gw36, but if you think too much about those gameweeks, you might miss out on points in the meanwhile, if you get me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 73 ✭✭Special Agent Oso

I've got a front three of Cisse, Rooney and RVP and dont see myself changing them tbh so instead i made a pretty boring "bench" transfer this gameweek - just to strenghten things up for gameweeks 34-36. I moved Kelly of Fulham out and moved in Caulker of Swansea. The reason being is:

Gameweek 34: Swansea are home to Blackburn and Fulham have no game

Gameweek 35: Swansea away to Bolton and Fulham home to Wigan

Gameweek 36: Swansea home to Wolves and Fulham are away to both Liverpool and Everton.

I fancy Swansea defenders to pick up more points over the next 3 gameweeks even though they have a game less. I dont want to load up on double gameweek players just for the sake of it. Just to have to deal with them later.

Anybody else see a method in my madness??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,998 ✭✭✭Shane732

At the moment I have 3 Spurs players, 3 Arsenal players, 3 United players and 2 Swanesa players for this GW.

This could either go brilliantly or really back fire.

I really need Cisse and Dempsey to calm down and stop scoring for the rest of the league.

They've cost me big time over the last few weeks by not having them.

Have 2 freebies but gonna roll one over and just do a tinkering and get rid of the non playing Senderos for Lichaj

    Last Minute one here:

    Who to drop

    walcott, dempsey, sigurdsson, valencia, bale

    cisse rooney van persie ?
