    What should be checked first. Fuses etc?

    The heater blower motor fuse is a 20amp and it should be fuse 1 in the dashboard fusebox.....It after that is could be this..

    As a matter of interest does the blower work on the fourth setting but not on 1,2 or 3.

    Not sure if OP has that prob, but I have, the fan works at highest setting but not at 1, 2 or 3 .....

    Classic case of blown resistor, and it applies to all heater fans of any car.

    Is this just a resistor (one) or is a resistor in a specific connector?

    It's one unit that's usually near the fan motor and wired to it.

    Ok, know someone with that problem (only works on highest setting). I will see if i can get the part cheap secondhand.
