As per the title. Pull the trigger once and it empties all the bbs in the mag. What do I need to do?

Ok, Im guna confuse myself and probably you by trying to explain this so bare with me. There a part on the pistol frame that when the slide cycles it passes over this metal lip, this then resets the sear which enables the hammer to do its job. I think because your slide does not reset the hammer it just unloads everything in one trigger pull as opposed to semi auto.

If your confident enough id strip down the pistol and check the leaf sear, there are plenty of vids on youtube on dis-assembly, is easy enough to be honest, if the pistol is under warranty take it back and get it sorted you will void your warranty if you take it apart yourself.

It's a Colt National Match KWC/WE/ Cybergun GBB. No leaf sear at all. The problem seem to have been grit in the hammer/ cocking assembly. Plenty of basic disassembly videos available but none go into the detail I need. Needless to say I'm having difficult getting it all back together.

You listed three individual brands there so is it a kwc or we or cybergun (didnt een know they made gbb pistols), i have a WE 1911 and it has a sear, knock out the pin on the bottom of the pistol grip that holds the hammer spring, slide it off and voila theres your sear!!

Just going on other info on the internet, there is no branding on the gun. A bit more digging has shown its a cybergun, back together again but a small spring on top of the air nozzled looks goosed.

i highly doubt it's anything to do with the air nozzle even if it may be broken, it's probably down to the trigger mechanism. The brand doesn't really matter, although I'd say it's a KWC/KJW or a WE, but that's not really important. I've taken apart loads of M9's so i would say the basic mechanism is the same, inside the trigger mech. box there are pieces that catch the hammer again, similar to a real one but slightly different in design, if the hammer isn't caught it means the pistol will empty the mag in one go, so this part is either broke or miss-lodged

I have the hammer issue sorted. On re-assembly the tiny piece of metal that engages the gas valve on the mag doesn't appear to be doing its job and the spring on top of the loading nozzle at the back of the slide is definitely shot, it is completely detached at one end and looks like it was strethced at some point.
I looked at the exploded diagram on the cybergun website. This gun isn't like any of the 1911s on youtube so not much help there.

I have the gun re-assembled and firing. I had to modify the spring on the loading nozzle a little to get it back in place. Damn whomever fiddled with this gun before me. I looked at every airsoft retailer site, couldn't find a spare spring even remotely similar.

Anyway, new glitch, after a couple of shots the slide seems to stick allowing the mag to vent all its gas in one go. Am a bit stumped by this, any suggestions?

Exact same thing happened to my 1911, i filed the inside of the slide a bit and it worked fine, but its the loading nozzle is getting stuck in the chamber and forces the outer barrel upward pinning it to the slide.

I think thats it anyway, put some silicone grease inside the loading nozzle but its probably your spring mod thats doing it.

A couple of spring coils had been streched out, I had to clip them off and loop another coil over a little hook at the rear of the loading nozzle, its one of the finest most delicate springs I have seen in anything. If I could just replace the spring I would.
I'll check the clearance on the outer barrel, and file/ grease appropriately. Thanks for the suggestion.

Chance your arm on airsoft adverts people might have a spare lying around you never know.

Very light filing i might add..but don't do that until you have sorted the loading nozzle spring it might not need filing in the end.

it could be your hammer. sometimes the hammer stops the slide from moving forward. with the slide back, put your finger down on the slide release and then pull the hammer down a little and see if it goes forward.

All good now. It just needed oil. Picked some up this morning, stripped the gun, few squirts of oil, assembled, five mags of bbs, cleaned off the excess, no probs now.
