trade in necklace for engagement ring

    hi. looking for a bit of advice or suggestions. i have a diamond pendant on a 18k double white gold chain, diamond weight about .41kt. (not sure about the other details) apparently its worth about €3000 but wouldn't be surprised if its not. The chain is brand new and never been worn and i have the documents i got with it.

    i just got engaged and i was hoping i could trade it in towards the cost of the engagement ring. Does anyone know any jewelers in Dublin that may do this or could i just chance it and ask when i'm there?

    any helpful advice /suggestions welcome:)
