    Hi All,

I'll be in Dublin next week & looking for recommendations on a good bike shop with a good selections of helmets. As the head is on the large size, I'd like to try on a few before buying. Anything I've bought previously from the Web or in my local bike shop have been OK but never totally happy with them. Local bike shop has very limited stock

    Thanks,

    John

After being in most decent bike shops in Dublin over the last few months I found the best choice of products (& helmets)in Wheelworx, the most helpful staff (& owner) were Stagg Cycles in Lucan.
Another excellent shop with great gear and a totally professional helpful service was Base2Race in Ballymount.

I'm a fan of Cycle Bike just off of Capel Street. I've always had excellent service.

    Hollingsworth Cycles in Templeogue Village.

They have a dreadful website though:

    www.bikez.ie

I really like Fitz Cycles in Stillorgan, cool store and the lads in there are sound.

Another thing is that their prices are close to internet prices (for what I wanted to buy anyway). I'd rather give my money to an Irish store if there's not much in it!

I'll recommend FitzCycles too; I've had nothing but excellent service, advice, and decent prices there.

I like fitzcycles. Nice setup and reasonable prices for everything except there maintenance (15 euro just to press a headset cup in )
