Hi all, just wondering if anyone can suggest some mid to low handicap irons? Iv been playing with ram sdx 2 the past 2 years and just cant get used to how the face looks at address. Iv had a few swings of my friends mizunos and my ball striking and accuracy is alot better. Iv been looking at sets like Adams A7 irons and burner sl8 irons. Basicly something without a huge cavity, look good at address and come in at about €350.

    Thanks in advance

McGuirks have Mizuno MP 53's for €500 brand new available online. That's a €250 reduction. Outside your range I know but fit the profile of what you're looking for aside from price and have rave reviews. Every bit as good as Titleist ap2's

Hi - I'm selling a set of irons that might fit the bill for you. They're Adams CB1 pro black forged irons. Really lovely set of clubs (4-PW) - less than 6 months old with Project X 5.0 shafts. Have a look at them here

They sell new online for 499 sterling but I'm looking for 260 for mine.

Thanks for your suggestions, would love the mizunos but 350 is absolute max unfortunately. How come your selling them after only 6 months NapoleonInRags? No offence to yourself but id rather stick with a shop, thanks very much for the offer though.

If you can save id look at a set of titleist AP2s, lovely club, nice small head.

    they're very very pricy though

To be honest if 350 is your max you'd be mad to go to a shop. You can pick up a high quality set of clubs in pristine condition at superb value second hand (not just the ones I'm selling :D).

Have a look at the golf section on adverts.ie.

The reason I'm selling the Adams irons is the shafts don't suit my swing.

    Best of luck

I'd have to say for 350 i'd rather buy a second hand set.
Golfbidder.co.uk is a good spot to pick up good quality second hand clubs.

Saw a spotless 4-pw set of AP2's in Newcastlewest Pro Shop last week. GolfPride ND Multicompound grips with Dynamic Gold s300 shafts. Immaculate they were, went out to demo them a couple of days later.... Gone. €400

Sickened, so much so I took the plunge on the MP 53's

Hi when did you see the MP53's for €500.00?

Around two weeks ago, they were clearing stock. I was looking for kbs tour hafts and all they had was s300's so didn't take them. Gone back up to €649 now.

    Mark,
The offer we are running on the MP53 irons is to try and clear our current stock. We only have standard specs with the Dynamic Gold shafts.

Well impressed with McGuirks, orderd them saturday night and had them wednesday afternoon even with the bank holiday.

Played a round today, very sloppy 7pts on the front but a very much improved 20pts on the back playing off 18. Not to shabby i dont think for the first time with new clubs.

Extremely happy with the new irons.

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions, much appreciated
