Goats, Deer And Charlie

    Went out early yesterday evening looking for charlie and came across some ferrral goats on one of my permissions, just on dusk and took 3 of them for dog food. I left one on the hill and went back with the dog this morning to give him a hunt. He picked it no prob as I knew he would. When dragging the goat back, I stopped to scan the opossite hill and low and behold there was 23 (I counted) deer about 700-800 yards from me, all grazing away in the early morning sunshine. It was a lovely sight to see. Hope they will be there in Sept as well:D:D

    Just goes to show you go out looking for one target find a different one and get to see a beautiful sight instead.
