Has anyone tried out the new Titleist ball called Velocity? The reviews are pretty impressive and the price point isn't bad €29.95 for a Dozen

Well I got a dozen on the way home and played a few holes. First impression is they feel hard and a little cheap compared to a ProV but I was impressed with how they played. Seemed a little longer off the tee but hard to gauge with the wind. I found the ball flight very good with approach shots and putting was fine.

A nice ball for €30 for a dozen and the few holes I played backed up the reviews I read.

Played 18 holes with 1 the other day and not a scratch or scuff on the ball afterwards which tells you how hard the outer shell is. Good for distance but not great spin off them. I'll be keeping them for next winter.
